Sworn Translations
Sworn translations are generally for official documents and are delivered signed and stamped by a translator who is accredited by state authorities.
If you need your translation to have legal validity, it is likely that you need to order a sworn translation. We have many years of experience in this field and we offer a serious, confidential and professional service.
To carry out a sworn translation in Spain, sworn translators are not required to physically see the original document. Therefore, they can be ordered remotely with a scanned copy of the document. Of course, you can also physically bring the document to our facilities at Avenida de Europ 27, Pozuelo de Alarcón if you prefer.
Technical Translations
We consider technical translations to be those on specialized topics, whose lexicon is not in common use. Some examples of this type of text would be:

Simultaneous Interpretation for Conferences
One of the most common interpretation modalities consists of having the intervention of one or several interpreters who translate in real time what the speakers say and transmit it to the listeners through the appropriate technological means.
In events with a physically present audience, it is usual to have booths for the interpreters and headphones for the attendees. In the case of interpreting online, listeners can usually select the language they want to hear through a platform like Zoom, for example.
Whether online or physically on site, simultaneous interpreting is not something that just anyone can do. Conference interpreters are highly skilled people who are able to listen to one language and speak another at the same time, working under high pressure and often with large audiences. Consecutive / Liaison Interpreting
Commonly used during meetings and business trips, Consecutive Interpreting (also known as Liaison Interpreting) consists of having an interpreter who acts as an intermediary to facilitate asynchronous communication between people who do not speak the same language.
That is, one person speaks, the interpreter translates it into the listener’s language, listens to their response, and provides a translation.

To request a quote for a translation, the most efficient way is to send us the document by email to info@humanit.as indicating the maximum delivery time and if it needs to be a sworn translation. If you prefer not to send the document at the moment, you can also indicate the word count and the type of text (technical, academic, general, commercial…) to receive an approximate quote.
In the case of interpretation, we need to know the date, the number of hours, the language combinations required, whether it will be face-to-face or online, and a brief description of the event.
